Who We Are

The SCHN is a regional planning council which is part of the Indiana Balance of State Continuum of Care.

“The Indiana Balance of State Continuum of Care (CoC) is first and foremost a group of people all passionate about ending homelessness.  We support the development and maintenance of solutions to address homelessness.  This includes strategies for engaging mainstream partnerships, the provision of shelter, temporary housing, and permanent housing.  The goal is to ensure that all residents of the state of Indiana are able to access and maintain permanent housing.” -- Content from the Indiana Balance of State Website which is located at: http://www.indianabos.org/.

The South Central Housing Network is a volunteer regional planning council of over 25 local non-profit organizations who have teamed up to implement a 10-year plan to address homelessness in Southcentral Indiana.

The South Central Housing Network builds relationships among area non-profits and helps identify workable solutions relating to housing and other basic necessities – with the long-term goal of helping folks achieve housing stability.
